Indavidual Pursuits [4 Points]

3 people that are incredible woman tennis players.  There names were Billie Jean King, Venus Williams, Serena Williams.  What they were trying to do were trying to get all the woman players that play tennis to get the same amount of money that men get from tennis.  Billie/Billie Jean King beat a male player so everyone would know that the woman could be just as good as the men in tennis.

Muhammed Ali "the incredible boxer" and one of the best and greatest boxer of all time.  He won many wins "the amount of wins he got was 56 wins, 5 losses, 37 knockouts, born in Africa American also named Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr and after being a boxer he retired".   He was young and changed his name to Muhammed Ali because he was Muslim when he was a young kid.

The Silver Ferns are New Zealand's repersentive netball team.   When they vs a team they most likely win.  To become a Silver Fern, the players had to work very hard and to sacrifice things to play there role on the team.  They also got a lot of support from everyone in their community.

Lebron James the famous basket ball player that is more famous then any basket ball player.  His team is name is Lakers.

Steven Adams is also a basket ball player and comes from Rotorua, New Zealand  and his team is Oklahoma City Thunders.

"These two players are famous but back then not famous, their family didn't have that much money but now they are successful unlike before".

Jonah Lomu the all black player/ rugby superstar.  He is a islander/ Tongan and raised in Auckland.  He was a beast and was a bull built up and tall also fast.

Another superstar called Richie McCaw.  He was a all black player and was the captain of the team for 11 years straight.  He was strong like Jonah Lomu but not the same.  There are people that have special powers like these two.

In 2009, Chesly Sullenberger/ Sully became a very famous he also landed in a river and he was in New York now.  He had a huge problem was that the to engines were now low and out of battery/ low power.  He survived...  Sully was very scared and frightened ever since but he is still incridibly brave.  Peace Out!! Jean Batten was a very famous advitar.  

Born in Rotaroa.

Born in the year 1909.

She was an actually the first person to go by her self/ solo to the start England to the destination/ the end New Zealand.  "Very incredible and fascinating and a really long way to England to New Zealand".  There is also a girl like her called Amelia Earhart was an American Advitor and was the first one to fly around the world with a plane.  But on her trip to go around the world she pasted away in the sea and  disapeared of randomly.  She had never been found ever again.  "So sad and brave of her to try and fly around the world".

Neil Armstrong was the first astronaut to make it in the world to the moon and walked on it .  He also did it in the year 1969.  It is very dangouraus and very brave of him to do that I guess he wasn't scared at all.    He thought of what it would fell like to be on the moon.  He thought that it would be bouncy as a trampoline.

On 1953 there was two people named  Edmund Hillary and  Tenzing Norgay that made it first to Mt Everest.  Not just the mountian but the top of it.  Edmund Hillary did a lot of charity work that he planned in 1960 so he could take care of people and give water and other stuff to where Mt Everest it located.

New Zealand believe a person that is named Kupe discovered New Zealand first.  In the year 1300, navigating from Hawaki by using stars and stuff.  342 years later...  There was a person named Abel that thought that he found New Zealand first, not knowing that Maori's were living there.  Them two were also exploring the world.
