  2. Kia ora Healy,

Thank you for doing week one, day two, activity three and for sharing that information. I’m sure Mr Chesley Sullenberger was really frightened when this happened, but his bravery shone through! Did you know about this miracle before reading the activity?

Can you think of a time that you or someone you know was really brave?

A time when I was brave comes to mind - I applied for the job I currently have (which is going into schools and talking to young people about respect and healthy relationships) and for the interview I had to create a 5 minute presentation to present to my boss and manager and 4 other people who were applying for the same job. I was so nervous but then when I was up there presenting I kind of just forgot about how nervous I was and the presentation must’ve been okay as I got the job!

Sometimes when we are really scared or nervous about something, once we’re doing it, it isn’t actually as scary and we think it was going to be.

You can post a bravery story in the comments below if you’d like to Healy!

    Have a groovy day,
    Eliza :)
