  1. Kia ora Healy,

You are right. In New Zealand, loggers work hard to cut down trees which is made into things such as paper and houses. When I was living in Taupo, our town was surrounded by beautiful, lush forests. I used to love driving through the forests to get to our house. We could also do lots of activities like mountain biking, walking, and hunting. Unfortunately, many of the forests have been cut down and turned into dairy farms. I do not agree with the large amount of trees that get cut down in bulk around New Zealand. This has changed the scenery and the activities available for the locals. It also means that we have more dairy farms which do not help sustain our environment.

The question asks you whether you think logging should be allowed in New Zealand? Explain to us why or why not.

As you have not fully answered the question, I will award you full points when you change your answer on your post. Remember to read the questions properly next time.

    Keep up the awesome work,
    Megan :)

    1. Hi Healy,

Thank you so much for replying to my comment and answering the question. You have made a valid point as to why you think logging is important. We do use plenty of wood to make furniture we also use it to keep warm in the winter.

Keep putting effort into the quality of your blogs. I can't wait to see your end result.

      Kindest regards,
      Megan :)
